Ok so a little update I guess seeing as i’ve posted loads of photo’s but no actual information about my life out here.

So yesterday I went out for orientation with all the instructors. I rode the Glades for the first time ever since I started skiing at 15. I smashed it and i’m so proud of myself. For those of you who don’t know what Glades are they’re the ungroomed parts of the mountain between the tree’s, usually next to the groomed runs. The powder is really fresh and usually very deep, but they’re pretty tricky to ride cause you don’t have much room to turn and can end up hitting a tree. Anyway, I did that and did them fine, I was flying.

As a couple of you may know cause I mentioned it, but i’m taking my level 1 ski instructors course on December 28th for 4 days, so hopefully as of Jan 1st i’ll be a certified ski insturctor. Fingers crossed. I’ve been riding with the instructors and they’ve all said I’ll be fine taking the course and am definitely good enough. So i’m stoked.

Heaps of new people have moved into Manor and they’re all really nice. So it’s nice and full and everyone hangs out with each other. Some hotties here to which is nice ha!

Uh what else.. oh yea Nakiska opens full time as of this Friday 2nd so i’ll be busy as hell everyday booking ski and snowboard lessons for everyone. That reminds me, I love my job. It’s long and i’m on my feet all day but it’s cool meeting nice people so im happy. And when i’m not working I am able to ski which is rad. I actually have Friday off so i’m gonna get up the mountain and shred! ha

Uh thats about it really. I’m super happy here, but I do occasionally miss people but i’ve been able to skype with my family and email so keep in contact.
